Studio J Dance Center strives to create an environment that builds self-esteem and confidence, in addition to providing a quality dance education in a loving and family centered atmosphere. Parents can be assured their child will receive exceptional dance training and the opportunity to develop tools that extend far beyond the classroom and stage.
We offer ballet, tap, jazz, modern, acrobatics, clogging, contemporary/lyrical and hip hop, as well as preschool classes (Ballet/Tap/Aco) designed specifically for social, psychical, and age appropriate development
RECREATIONAL
70% of our students are enrolled in recreational classes! They have a passion for dance and love learning in community with their peers! We have classes to fit all skill levels and ages, and always make sure our dancers are on the right track for growth. These students will perform in a rectial at the end of the dance year to showcase all that they have learned that season!
COMPETITIVE
Our competitive dance program is designed to provide students with more opportunities to expand their passion for dance. We focus on delivering a more in-depth dance education that emphasizes the importance of a strong technical foundation and continually builds on previous skills.
Students enrolled in our competitive classes will learn from our professional staff as well as notable guest instructors working in the professional dance industry.
Dancers will attend competitions where they will receive constructive feedback from respected judges on how they can improve their performance. The competitive dance structure helps students to build self-confidence and understand the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. We encourage our students to set and achieve their goals while instilling positive values of teamwork and commitment.
